Can you keep a secret?

Had a chat with a friend in starbucks today, and i was astonished to find out certain things. People i trusted with secrets, do not seem that trustable afterall. I wouldnt say i am very trustable too, because i do spill some secrets out to my best friend(s), but i always thought i chose the right people to say. Then, i found out i was wrong.
I regret telling some people about things i shouldnt have. I deeply regret. From now on, i must be determined enough to keep a secret. Gather, and store. Do not reveal. This is my new resolution.
Some people can be good friends, but not a good secret keeper.
I may be one of them too. Sigh, but i am trying to change. Really i am.
Then again, no one is really perfect, right?
P.S: Everytime i spill a secret, i feel like strangling myself afterwards. I know it doesn't help, but how can i stop myself from practicing this bad habit?! HELP. i need HELP.
